Editing + Still Camera work.
Well we got to grips with an Adobe Editing Software on the Mac's and we started editing ours. we had 2 different shots of each of us, so we started off by going through all of them 2 or 3 times and we made our choices of which ones we were going to use. I am pretty happy with the choices as they are all at completely different points. We decided that we would go for a different approach to our video as we chose to mix the orders around. so we started off with the start of our videos where we all said hi, then cut to the parts when we said our names and we just cut to the rest of our individual clips. Then at the end we did a remix of all our bloopers which made it quite a funny video with a Jamaican song over it which gave it that certain touch of originality.
The second part of the day was about Still Capture. I have to say going into the diploma i really didnt think still capture was one of my strengths but i thought the shots i did were very good.

Filming Ourselves
This session, our group decided the prime location where all the filiming would take. It only took about 2 minutes to think about when we came up with the field. The minute we arrived on the field we instatntly saw where the first filming would take place. It was in a tree. Josh decided that he wanted to do the tree shot and it only took us two attempts to get it perfect. Next Elliot did his by the football goalposts. His took abit longer becuase he couldn't think of what to say. Then came my turn, after doing two static shots, we decided that we were going to go for a dynamic shot, which went really well as it was a lot different compared to the other ones we did and i thought it was anoverall success :)

Introductory Lesson
Well once everyone had arrived we got told about the different projects that we would be doing and i was looking forward to them as they all looked really good. The one I'm probably looking most forward to is the Music Video one as i really enjoy video editing/filming. We rated ourselves on certain topics such as if we are 'Creative Thinkers', a 'Team Worker' and an 'Effective Participator'
